Village Pointe AND Chance Ridge Volunteer NEEDS!

  • Exhibit Hall = Help with Open Class Exhibits

  • Information Booth = Provide general information to Fair Attendees

  • Eating Contests = Assist with watermelon, cake, and ice cream eating contests

  • Parade = Help with organizing entries

  • Kiddie Tractor Pull = Assist kids

  • Kids Round-up = Help with kids in this play area

Douglas County Fair strives to help educate the public on the importance of Agriculture and as a result, volunteers are vital to our success. Volunteering will allow individuals the unique experience of having a behind the scene look at the fair. Volunteering will entail helping with entry day, the judging of exhibits, and arranging static exhibits.

Benefits
If selected to be a superintendent, there will be money donated to a non-profit of your choice after the fair. Additionally, you will get to see the exhibits presented from the general metropolitan area.

  • Agriculture/ Produce

  • Textile Arts

  • Fine Arts

  • Sugar Arts 

  • Food

  • Quilts

  • Photography

 

*Livestock Superintendents must have Livestock Experience!!!*

  • Cattle

  • Goat

  • Sheep

  • Swine
